APPLICATIONS OF IRON NANOPARTICLES (OPS) IN FOUR KEY SECTORS

Smallops product (OPS) offer different competitive advantages to different sectors, Smallops currently focuses on 4 main sectors.

Olive pomace: residue of the production of oil that is obtained from the centrifugation of the olive. At Smallops we value this waste by converting it into encapsulated iron nanoparticles and biogas.

Biogas clean energy whose main components are methane (CH4, between 50 to 70% vol.), carbon dioxide (CO2 between 30 to 50% vol.) and other components in smaller proportions.

Water treatment: 2,000 million tons of water are polluted daily due to waste. This not only affects the health of millions of people, but also affects marine ecosystems.

Biochar: is the solid product remaining after biomass is heated to temperatures typically between 300°C and 700°C under oxygen-free conditions.
