The project involves the development of a disruptive and cross-cutting technology based on hydrothermal carbonization (HTC) and the use of carbon-encapsulated zero-valent iron nanoparticles (OPS). This technology will enable the agro-industrial sector to optimize anaerobic digestion processes for biogas production, valorizing the byproducts and waste generated in their production processes.
Execution period: 2023-2024
