Research to improve biogas production from fish industry water using carbon-encased iron nanoparticles (OPS).

The Leitat technology center will collaborate with SMALLOPS to study how to increase biomethane production in an anaerobic digester that treats fish processing water by applying zero-valent iron nanoparticles in a carbon matrix, obtained from a residue derived from the olive oil fraction.
