The Extremadura-based company Smallops transforms the waste generated by the production of olive oil, alpechin, and alperujo into nanoparticles and biogas “to revalue all the waste generated in the sector.” This was explained by the company’s CEO and co-founder, Íñigo Monreal, who explained that their product is nanoparticles, which they call “OPS,” and which have “different applications.”
